About the author:
Colonel Rajeev Mongia has served in the Indian Army for almost 21 years.
An alumnus of the prestigious Defence Service Staff College, Wellington, he completed his post-graduation in defence studies in 1994.
Later, Colonel Mongia held the coveted position of Brigade Major in the counter-insurgency area of Srinagar and high altitude areas of Ladakh.
The author is a keen cricketer and hockey player and has played cricket at the Army Command level.
Known for his independent and creative views, this book is the author’s maiden attempt in the world of writing.
